i want to replace my factory style seat belts in my charger [with the separate shoulder belts that clip to the sunvisor brackets when not in use] because they are 56 years old, [have a 1968 date code of manufacture tag] and they are dirty, stained, and have a couple of frayed places on them.
they do not have to be perfect factory replicas, but the shoulder belts must clip to the sunvisor mounts when not in use, and clip to the factory belts when needed.
i would hate to find out they would not do the intended job when called to do so ! eek [hope THAT never happens ! luck]
where would be the best place to get these, and what kind of a lead time can i expect ?
do i need to send my factory belts and retractors out to get re-webbed ? if so, where, and what kind of time turnaround can i expect doing that ?
6 months or more like seat covers ? [gee, i hope not........but it will be what it will be, i guess.]
a big TIA to those that know more about this than i do. bow

We were very well pleased with Sharon's Web restoration on my '70 Duster belts, tags etc.

Also, P&G Classic had re-pops for the Duster. Most likely they would have them for a Charger also.

thanks for that link ! up
as all i'm interested in is new webbing, as my buckles and retractors are almost perfect, [the car only has almost 19k original miles, the only thing that is really great about it, as the rest of the car has a very storied history since i acquired it in 1970.]
i will contact her to see what re-webbing would cost, as it looks like i could get that done way quicker and cheaper that buying new belts.
