Went to install the fan shroud and found that the parts book says it should be 3785435 and I have 3785434 does anybody know the difference it will bolt up thanks for any help Matt 845-206-2743

Something sounds awry. Typically the '66 part numbers are 2XXXXXX rather than 3XXXXXX.

In many cases the number on the part and the number in the book are different and are often just one digit apart.

That's absolutely true. For example, a '66 318 exhaust manifold, 2532414 part number with a 2532415 casting number. But I would still question a 3XXXXXX PN for 1966.

You sure it's not 2785434 2785435 ?

434 is B body . Uses 3 attaching points drivers side. Just 2 on pass side( shown)
435 is C body. 3 bolts each side
