8 3/4 center section. This is 742 case with 3.73 gears and sure-grip posi unit. Has small yoke (7260 U-joint). Unit was hardly used and in excellent condition. Ready to bolt in. Asking $750. (Can't ship) Contact Bud: Kramden426 at aol.com

Supposedly new 5.57 8-3/4 gear set for 489 case, brand unknown but it is stamped USA with the 'heart' stamping. I got these and a set of 5.38s 2 years ago installed with spools, but decided they're probably a bit too low for my current project. I removed them tonight and will replace them with a 5.13 gear. I'll remove the pinion bearings tomorrow and clean then for better pictures, nonetheless, here they are, $325 shipped USPS to the lower 48 continental states. 8 3/4” Sure grip center section 3.23 ratio with large yoke in as pulled condition. Smooth turning and looks to be in good shape. Asking $650 w/ pickup preferred.

MW spool, will have to verify spool spline count and 4.30 ratio, it's been years.

These caps are new never been installed. they require minor fitting by installer, as all aftermarket upgrade caps do.
The blue paint marking means they have been Cyro treated.
It's common thinking only the driver's side cap fails first, therefore it's the only one thought to need an upgrade. There is no known downsides to doing both caps other than cost.
Meaning two 8.75's can be upgraded here, I am not willing to separate.
