that is an absolute truth.
i have owned my charger since 1970. it doesn't get out much these days because of "life occurrences".
it drives considerably different than my "bus", a 1999 caravan, which is my daily driver.
although over the years i have upgraded the original 10" power drum brakes to 12" discs with large piston calipers in the front, and 11" drums in the rear, it still stops way differently than the "bus" with it's anti-lock brake system.
i also drastically reduced the power steering assist, so it isn't so overly quick and vague, but it is still no comparison to the power rack and pinion the "bus" has.
when i have my charger out and about, i act like an old man driving it. [oh, wait......i AM old.......
] if i'm away from the general populace, i will romp on it just to remind me how much more snort it has than my "bus".
however when i do this, and the "magic smoke" escapes from the rear tires, the car is pointed straight, and i'm ready to grab the key to shut it off if something bad happens.
if the worst happens, i'm the only one that will be affected by the outcome, and will be only one that suffers a just reward.
