would love to hear some opinions on the new-ish blue print engines 6.2 based 426 stroker w/ 3.0 whipple 872hp with a 30 month 50k warranty for 25k i know the initial sticker shock is a bit much but if the quality is there thats a way better option than a mopar crate engine.
would like to hear some thoughts.

No experience with them but they have a great reputation. That seems like a pretty good deal considering it comes with the fuel injection computer. I wonder if the ECU allows user input or if it is "locked" for warranty?

I don’t think a Terminator can be locked.

I wasn't sure. I would imagine they have something in place for the warranty that prevents the purchaser from adding a bunch of timing and melting it down, then crying warranty lol.

I have seen a lot of issues with their engines. I had to redo one I put in a customer truck for high oil consumpition a couple times (5.7 eagle ) I had to fix a rear main seal leak on a 4.6 ferd right after installing it, on a 318magnum it was way down on power another shop had installed it and it had 4 valve relief pistons even farther down the hole than stock and thicker than stock head gaskets making for very low compression and the chinesium cam was severely retarded I don't know if it was the cam itself or the timing set or crank but I advanced it several degrees with an offset key and put in single layer steel shim head gaskets and it ran much better. The latest one I messed with was 4 years ago so maybe they have improved their quality...

thanks Dave. good info to have. i guess i should just price everything out and see if there is any benefit to using their stuff. for the same money maybe i could get better parts as they dont list who's rotating assemby it is. i like the semi turn key idea and not trying to figure out computer stuff.

I have a friend that parts out SRT8 and Hellcat stuff. He usually has engines/drivetrains in stock with some them low mileage.

Some more details here:

https://moparconnectionmagazine.com...mpatible-engines-from-blueprint-engines/

The BluePrint Gen III engine is a significant advancement in the automotive business, matching the legendary Gen II 426 displacement. BluePrint Engines starts with a brand-new Hellcat block acquired from Stellantis. Each block is filled with a BluePrint rotating assembly, which includes a quality-designed forged crankshaft, rods, and pistons, creating a powerplant that revolutionizes the industry. Each Gen III Hemi-compatible engine built is a testament to BluePrint’s commitment to quality

i can buy insurance stuff locally if i wanted to go that route. i dont want 707hp i want more. a 2019 hellcat just sold a couple days ago here for 32g (canadian peso's) (24k US) so part out what you dont need and it would be an ok deal but still a used motor that ran into a tree.

You could build it yourself or gather all the parts yourself and have a local engine builder assemble it for less. Its just a stock BGE block + 392 heads and the 4" stroker crank + the blower. The 2017+ 392's also used the BGE/Hellcat block, so get one of those and start there

I can say this, We've used a few of their Ford 427 SBF long blocks , and they were spot on .
