5150 is some Chevy guys that don’t know what an SE Challenger is for instance. They have tons of YouTube videos about their flipping antics. I haven’t seen this Mecum lineup. They used to have some junk for sale, I think they’ve graduated to much better stuff. I believe they were moving at one point and tried to sell the junk off so they didn’t have to haul it with little interest.

They didn’t know what an se challenger had. I watched because of the car, was shocked somebody would hold themselves out as a “pro” and go to buy a car like that without knowledge of what it was.

I just went through the website and someone will add to my memory here, but the mopars are all from one collection. They called them the 5150 mopar collection. I remember them from long ago. It may have been a website or tv show or something but the had bought up tons of mopars. They mostly had chargers. You could buy anything from them and they would finish the car for you. They may have started in Texas? I’m not sure but moved to California? Anyway, someone May remember more than me. It’s been awhile. I don’t think flooding the market all at one time is a good idea. I know when a guy from Midland, Tx did that several years ago, he did not sell hardly anything.
So, I’m not sure how good these guys are at detailed restorations but they have some rare cars. The 68 Hemi roadrunner was on eBay and is missing parts. They are selling their non-stellar cars for stellar prices.

A few nice mopars yesterday.A red challenger T/A,a few chargers and a gTx. And a few cars oit of the 5150 collection still havnt sold.

Any thoughts if you saw the mopar 5150 collection today? not seeing em in person , only on tv, the cars brought do not seem like primo ... the cream of the crop... more like driver type cars... i only saw the blue superbird sold, and i think it was for 200k- a 6pk for 200k is cheap in today's market, so as scott martin would say (rip my friend) it could be a 'perfumed-pig' Agreed, looked like a bunch of driver quality cars, some were nice looking but most/all seemed to be lacking correct details and not high level restorations.
