Who is all going to this event? Is it worth the long drive? Lot's of vendors? Thanks!! Ted I’ve heard a lot of good things about this race but I don’t know about the vendors.

Lots of the Challenger 1320 guys make the trip there cuz there's a special race just for those cars. They've all said it's a good time, but I'm actually taking time off to get back into my garage that weekend and the following week to make a big push on the '73
2021 Challenger 6.4L Scat Pack 1320 100% stock: 1.680, 11.894 at 113.75 (DA 175 ft) weight reduction, wheels, tires, Hellcat air box: 1.661, 11.686 at 115.97 (DA 710 ft)

We've gone every year so this will be our 5th year since it started in 2020. It's a great event, every year it gets bigger. Usually we're in the race pits, but this year we'll be in the swap meet. As far as vendors, it depends on if you're talking the vendors midway which is down by the staging lanes. Many of those vendors are more of the performance or modern stuff usually. The list of Vendors from the moparty.com website. Holley Performance Brands OPTIMA Batteries QA1 Speedzone Renegade Racing Fuels and oils Homegrown Designs LLC Magnuson Superchargers Trickflow High Octane Events Mopar MCG Mopar Connection Nostalgia Pro Exhibition Hammer Fab LLC Bowling Green Area Convention & Visitors Bureau Big Daddy’s Detail Supply Florida Performance AutoMetal Direct Boosted Motorsports Classic Instruments Diablosport Sublime Technologies Stephens Performance and Dale's Cuda Shop are at the front of the Swap Meet which is up towards the front entrance before the car show. Not much for vintage stuff Rich? From the vendors in the Vendor Midway, honestly not a lot that I've seen at previous ones. Maybe that will be different this year. It tends to be performance type stuff in the midway. The swap meet area is where you're more likely to find stuff for the vintage cars. I'm planning on picking up a reproduction AAR hood from a guy in the swap meet. Kayse will be selling her T-Shirt Pillows and stuff in the swap. I'll have a buddy's 71 GTX in the swap trying to sell it for him and probably a few parts.

Rumor is, if you just want to go as a spectator, they don't sell tickets at the gate. Instead, you have to buy them online! If that's true, it's about the thing I've heard of involving a car show! Can anybody confirm or squash the rumor?

Looks like the hurricane is going to make it rain all weekend, I will be there regardless. I haven't bought any tickets for the show or spectating, if I have to buy them online I will do it when I am standing in line...LOL..

So far it’s been dry. It sprinkled a little right when we got to the motel.
Forecast says rain expected to end around 6am Friday morning.

Sun is out now. How’s the turnout? If weather holds, may drive over in the morning. It’s been pouring rain in the Lexington area all morning.

Thanks to everyone who came out. Weather (surprisingly) played into our favor, the drag racing program could not have moved any smoother if we tried, and while the attendance numbers were down, it seems like everyone had a great time. I did hear that Catherine Bach (Daisy Duke herself) had a great time and stayed an extra day. The official dates for next year were released: September 12-14, 2025. Great burnout contest, cool to have the Predator monster trucks back out crushing cars and giving rides all weekend long. Always great to see the mix of Mopars, from the classics to the modern, the forgotten and the freaking weird (like the B-van that was maybe nine feet long in the burnout contest) show up to Bowling Green.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I need to find the throat drops. I talked more this weekend than I have in the past year.
