Just ran into another problem and needing some help. 2019 5.7 out of a cop car. Ordered AC compressor fittings from Bouchillon. Won’t fit. Paper work from Bouchillon says will not work on variable speed compressors. Compressor has a plug on bottom rear so I’m assuming I have a variable speed. Is there a none variable speed compressor that is a direct replacement. Don’t want to have to modify the mount points. Or are there fittings that will work on this compressor that will accept #8 and #10 fittings. If so can this compressor be run without using the variable speed.

This is the compressor sold by MP for the crate swaps.
I crossed the number on RockAuto, memory is foggy, but I think it’s from a 2016 Jeep.

Thanks I’ll check that out. From what I’m seeing it looks like the variable speed compressor was introduced in 2014. So I’m assuming a 2013 or earlier will work. Have a local salvage yard nearby that has a ton of late model Mopar’s. Going to take the variable seed comp there in the morning and see if I can find a compatible non variable speed comp.

Just did a search on Rock Auto. 2014 Jeep compressor matches the photo you posted. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. up
