I solved all my concrete driveway problems by replacing the entire drive way. 10 years later, I only have one small crack the goes across the entire width, down neat the street.
The concrete patch stuff works for a while, if the divots are cleaned out, and are deep enough for the patch material to "grab" the cement. Those patches need to be at least 2" deep, and expect to be digging out the patch in 4-5 years for a redo. If the divots are not deep enough, or cleaned out, the patch has a shorter life span before the start to lift off the concrete surface.

Not knowing where your new state is, if its in the land of ice and snow, those divots may have been caused by ice melt salt, either dropped by parked vehicles, or generously and unevenly distributed by a home owner, or someone else. The ice melt salt eats the concrete surface over time, causing the divots. My wife insists of salting the crap out of the sidewalks in front of our house, now after 21 years, all the sidewalks have divots in the surfaces. Now she believes me...

My dad used to be a concrete guy. Ice melt salt was used very sparingly on his driveway and walks, and they were all washed off each spring. After 54 years of use, there were no divots on his driveway or sidewalks.

I agree with Poorboy. There are other methods to patch it up, but if you want it to look like it never happened, bust out those sections and pour new concrete.

Pics would help. Depending on the size/# you can use a epoxy product that will "grab" better than most of the patch products you can buy at the home centers. Years ago i used to repair concrete floor isle guards found in warehouses. The forklifts would hit them and destroy the concrete. Doubt you will find their products at the home stores.

it never seems to fail, if i try to fix something i really care about the CORRECT way, it never lasts. but if i just cobble something together i don't care about, it seems to last forever !
at the warehouse the machine shop i commanded in my working career was located, we used epoxy to fill potholes in concrete caused by fork lifts and other mishaps many, many times.
that stuff just flat works, and we [the maintenance department] never really cleaned out the holes as we should have.
as i have been retired for many years now, i'm almost positive the concrete repair epoxies out there these days are vastly superior to the products that were available [what we used] back then.

I have often wondered if drilling holes in the bottom for the repair material to fill in forming an anchor for the patch material would be beneficial or
Drilling holes and using rods to anchor the patch without being near the top,
Hope that made sense shruggy

If its a newer home, maybe there is a warranty you could use?
