Building a 64 Dart with a 5.7. Using RMS Altercation front suspension with power steering. I’m having an issue with the oil pan hitting the power steering rack and not letting the engine 2021 set down in the k-fram mounts. First oil pan I used was the Holley center sump. Was told to use to 31000 pan as the Holley you pan will only work on B and E bodies when using the RMS K-fram. Installed the Milodon pan and it still hits the rack not allowing the engine to set down in the engine mounts. Has anyone installed a 5.7 in an early A body using the Altercation front suspension? If so what oil pan did you use.

Anyone know the difference between the Milodon 3100 and 31030 oil pan?

Fixed it by raising the mount tabs on the k-frame up by 5/8 inch. Got about .25 inch clearance now.

Been a awhile but (31030 is the Helcat pan) ,, front bolt holes to work with the Hellcat/supercharger timing cover......and deeper in the front, I could be wrong about the extra clearance , bee awhile since I
've seen one.

My brother-in law's shop had a 66 dart come brought it where the owner/builder notched the front of the pan to clear a rack and pinion set up.
