Does the weatherstrip get glued to the bottom hrizontal lip or the vertical lip ??

That's the direction I glued mine - high side out. Mine is a different profile though. I had that profile on years ago and found it too thick - wouldn't let the lid sit flush to the quarters or dutchman.

We make the only soft trunk weastherstrip. The other manufactures trunk weatherstrip is WAY too hard.
