That's higher than i thought it would go for. Wonder what the buyer plans to do with it.

Hey, come on now! All of the "1"s are 1s, the "2"s are 2s, etc. They ALL match...

If you ask 90% of sellers that say that what it means they'll either admit they don't know, or try to explain it and PROVE they don't know.

When you read the ad, it is full of "key Words". All to drive views and hits to his ad.
Yep. Ebay sucks now because they don't police this. I know it's tough job but if they want to have all the fees they have than they better improve their site because it's a f'n mess right now.

Facts are stubborn things.

Did I over pay? Yes.... but it was what i have been looking for and it was close to home.
The spray paint on the truck is just covering rock chips, it's pretty clean aside from the spot on the door and very complete. It actually runs great and the truck had a pile of reciepts, one of which was for an engine rebuild before it was parked. Put new tires on as soon as I got home and my plans are to spray the black back on and leave the tan. Put the stripes back on and use it to go camping and Home Depot. Down the road I will do a full restoration but I want to be able to drive it and have some fun with it first without worrying about scratches. I already have a restored 68 Charger and 79 Scout and I don't want another show car which is why this truck appealed to me so much.

I was able to confirm when I got it home as a real macho.

Some here think $13K was too much for that truck, but I'm not one of them.
It's not like big block trucks grow on trees, and finding one with a clean body and a good running drivetrain doesn't happen often, especially in unrestored condition.
This was a good opportunity for someone that was seriously in the market.
Have fun with it! up

Glad to hear and see where it landed.

It is clean and with the additions you are planning to add it will look great.

Drive it and enjoy it. Don't worry what you paid for it.
