Nice truck. It will be fun to see what it goes for.

Lose the, side hooks, change the side exit exhaust, and fix the lights on the roll bar, and drive it.

Love the truck. Too bad about the side hooks. Ugh.

Wonder who has it here. Looks like a nice truck. Funny that he says numbers matching drivetrain when Dodge didn't put vin numbers on truck motors like they did with cars.

Seller has updated the description.

Not a factory 440, was a 400 2-barrel. But still refers to it as matching numbers.

If it was a factory 440 it would bring a lot more money.

I think he is using the MN as "key words"

The seller is definitely playing around.

I was interested and was going to call this weekend until I saw the update and the general feeling I had about it.

That a bummer. It could be a great truck with some modifications. But, I believe the price is going to out-way the chance of that.

Hey, come on now! All of the "1"s are 1s, the "2"s are 2s, etc. They ALL match...

If you ask 90% of sellers that say that what it means they'll either admit they don't know, or try to explain it and PROVE they don't know.

I think it likely still has the factory 400 in it. Somebody probably noticed the J in the VIN and asked about it. Everybody thinks they have a 440 until they don't.

35 yrs ago (!) when I was putting a 440 in my '76 Club Cab I went looking for a parts truck. I can't tell you how many trucks I came across that had a 440 with a 2 bbl carb............ rolleyes (sellers insistent their truck was a factory 440)

All the comments here and not one word about the hood being black on its underside? shock Previous GM guy owner or previous accident damage? Regardless, still a neat piece. up
