This brings back a fond memory from over forty years ago. My buddys smallblock front engine dragster had a worse bog than yours . The motor would die. So we opened the garage door, ( for safety of course!) , i drilled the shooters, and Mel my buddy held the hand brake and tried it. Died again, but hic upped a little. Drilled shooters more. Second try, better, but died. Third drilling, that thing lit up and was in the street instantly!

Wonder if the "Umbrella" style of them causes a low pressure area to draw additional fuel? Hard to say, another theory can be that the skirt inhibits 'siphoning' fuel at high draw? All I know is they look fast!

They still pull fuel on the dyno...Just saw it.
I still believe you'll find especially when the weather is cool that intake is part of the issue. Wetting it will be your friend in the end, especially if using an oxygenated fuel. But more squirter will help with that and hurt thew AFR off the button...

They still pull fuel on the dyno...Just saw it. Well, they say "reduced" pullover... not "eliminated"... I wonder if Braswell's squirters have less tendency for pullover due to their streamlined shape and raised nozzle exits compared to standard squirters?

We see less from the Braswell stuff as well. I was going to film the last dyno session but my phone died a horrible blinking icon death. Not something I do often honestly. Pullover is just something that exists. Less is good but really not a huge deal to overcome. Some are much worse than others for sure. I believe but nothing scientific for sure that its more of an issue with undersized carbs. But again not a huge deal especially for 99.9% of racers who are mainly bracket guys or et chasers.

Yes, but almost ran over me, and scared the willys out of us. Lesson learned.

In an effort to eliminate a lean bog, I ordered BLP '35' squirters. They are machined billet alum. and I wondered if they are interchangeable with my swap-meet proform 750 bodies. They look radically different but the critical heights suggest they'll work. So these have 4 release passages versus the 2 you'd have normally with a conventional holley squirter. '35' means .035" per orifice so, these have smaller orifices to achieve the same volume (and no, i didn't bother to measure them) After I bolted 2 on, I thought it may be smart to run a reamer thru the orifices 'just in-case'. That was a good decision because half of the machined orifices had burrs. Regardless, it's likely a quality product/improvement and I'll be using them. Is there a better picture of the orifice never seen a squirter with four orifice seems like an good ideal to run a pin gauge check and reamer though (quality control) for good measure.

Just pinned mine. The orifices are about .024". A .024" fit easy and a .025" wont quite fit, so maybe .0245" on a .035" squirter? I was just going to ask if a "35" 4-hole design meant each pair was actually .0175" per hole. Starting to sound a bit arbitrary as to how they label the sizes, since what you described I'd call a "48", not a "35".

maybe we bought the wrong size and they have a method of sizing to get the same flow as the old school squirter? I will talk to Dom about this, but i'm sure he said he bought .035's and they work real nice. I think Andy's nailed it - BLP is probably labeling them based on comparable squirter area; makes sense to me after he said it Edit - After the calc's I've made for carb emulsion bleed combinations (e.g., 3 x. 020" being similar to 2 x .028 in total emulsion area, but the timing of when they come into play varies), I'm surprised it didn't occur to me, as well... D'oh!
