That car is stunning. I just do not understand why some do not see the value of these cool different cars. I understand folks would not live in a home setup like 1970 but I would.

From the ad...The 8,140 miles on this 1970 Plymouth Road Runner’s odometer are original, according to the seller, and it’s a lightweight, sparsely equipped 383 model with manual steering and brakes, a bench seat, and no radio. The seller is the car’s second registered owner, and he describes it as "numbers matching," providing a photo of the partial VIN on the engine as documentation. The original owner reportedly sold it to a restorer who worked with a classic car dealer to refurbish the classic Mopar muscle car. “When restored the car was disassembled and put on a rotisserie,” says the seller, adding it starts and runs “perfectly.” The seller purchased the car from the classic car dealer in 2020.
I am calling BS on the mileage claim. It is diffidently not the most describable color on the outside, but I do like the interior color.
I am guessing the the reserve is well north of $50,000.

8k miles needed a full resto? Done to an average level? Guys kill for original cars. Major mistake to do such. Or the typical bs sales job. Show me something to make me believe what you are saying. Where are the before pics? 2020 I think was a year when you could buy a memory card for like 8 bucks.
Plus add air shocks to your low mile ride. SMH.

Way to many red flags and changes to a "8000" mile car.
A color change would do a lot for it.
I had a white 69, but it was a bright white, not the sand pebble beige or what ever color this one is.

Car has had full top to bottom resto. Lacking OE detail and parts. Even the dash vin plate was painted over (decal not put back on).
Original 3 spd manual car, says in ad. Original trans goes with car.
Whatever the mileage claim, it’s is fairly irrelevant now.
The motor vin stamp pictures appear pre resto.

I can appreciate pretty much any weird factory combo even if I find the combo unappealing or downright ugly.

Love it! I prefer a honest car returned to mostly original. They don't all have to be Hemi Orange or Sublime Don't care about mileage claims on restored cars, its irrelevant
Great entry level car for someone just getting into the hobby. Will be interesting to see where what we think of as an Entry Level car ends up in todays B-body market. My guess its still pretty far off from the reserve. Color aside, its still a nice 70 Roadrunner. Wouldn't hurt my feelings to see it in my garage, but price decides. Great buy at 28K. Does it go to 50?

Could you even get a 3 spd manual in a RR? I thought it was 4spd or automatic only... I have never seen a 3 speed Runner.

3-speed stick, no radio, manual steering, great color combo - My type of car! It would look even better with steelies & caps! If anyone wants to buy it for me, I'd have a three speed back in it & ready to drive as it was meant to be in days, I have all the parts here.

Yes, the 3-speed (floor shifter) was standard for '70 RRs - also the performance A-bodies. A13 (though there were 2 variations). Pretty rare, though I've known of a few A & B cars with them. 70 Challenger R/T and 70 Cuda with the 383 4 bbl also came standard with a 3-speed stick on the floor

Says SOLD at $45675. Good buy? Probably for a 70 RR manual car. I know it's a 3-speed car. But, it's for sure worth more than a auto. I've have this feeling it's had metal work done to it. Inside quarter don't have original undercoating. But has some coating put on before major metal was re-assembled. And clean floors. M I think it's a good core to go back and pick at the detailing for not a lot of money. Get correct air cleaner, fix oil leaks, detail suspension, put correct radiator block out back on, battery cables, pcv, wiper motor resto (or even spray paint resto), take that stupid lame Hurst Equipped emblem off, etc....

This is one of the only sales I’ve seen at the higher pricing I noticed starting in the spring. Cars took a noticeable jump in asking prices this year, but weren’t selling to my knowledge. I do wonder if people will bail on the stock market and stuff money in alternatives. Warren buffet has sold things with both hands the last few months. He says things are overpriced and is sitting in a record cash pile in the hundreds of billions. He won’t be buying old cars, but other people might.
