Yes, I believe it will go high teens in 60ft once sorted-out which includes new tires and in good air. There is a list of things I will be doing that'll make it faster and IMO it'll go 8.3x at 2815# again in good air. Bigger carbs on Q16, a chin spoiler. better driving and shift replace the 90/140 Amsoil diif fluid with something thinner, increase spark timing and some carb tuning. maybe move the cam back a degree or 2. replace 50w oil with 30wt etc
I said this because I wasn't sure if you were thinking it would go 8.2's eventually. I know you start hitting a wall as speed increases and the gains are less. But judging by the data I've seen and misc factors, I feel confident in what I said.
So much i what to say here, but I'm going to keep it short , your combo seems well sorted out.Take my junk for instance my car has run a best of 6.00's in good air with it's best 60's of 1.27 on ladder bars. I tried like so hard to get a 5.90 something to satisfy my goals( it didn't happen )i guess what I'm trying to stay is running N/A is some much harder to get that 1/2-a tenth out of but i know you will figure it out........what rear suspension you are running it might have been said and I miss it?....Good Luck with it

I'm using a 4-link and Dana60 with a 2x3 back-half. I have a long build thread with a bunch of details and pics that was moved over in the 'projects' section. Thank you!...I put a lot of thought into what goes into the car and often (especially during the build process) things that were 'done' got 'redone' in the name of speed. I'm sure I've said it here a few times but still I am pleasantly surprised with how it's going so far. And yes I feel it's efficiently using what is available. There are changes I feel in the off-season that can be done to find more power especially in the heads and a new intake manifold. At this point I'm not decided what I will do. I definitely would like to meet up and race with some of our community fellow mopar monkies soon but I have my hands full at the moment including another car that needs building.

The video for our class IS NOW uploaded on Youtube. It's done well with high resolution and includes a two camera shot with one camera near mid-track so you can hear everyone's engine singing...good stuff!

Hell yeah! That car is baddass on all fronts. Lookin’ good and running hard! Can’t ask for more than that…..and there’s more I’m sure!
Sean, your efforts remind me of a Warren Johnson story. He was testing various vacuum belts, and a guy said, "you probably won't find a 1/4 hp there" Warren said, I know. But if i do things like this a hundred times, that could be 25 hp. And that is what makes a winner!
Sean your car looks a bit fat going down track in that video. Just an observation...Oh yeah throw some good fuel in it since you are chasing all the horsepowers....
