I think the black plastic with the tower has something to do with canceling the turn signal switch? Found it, i believe, on a flaming river viveo?
IMAGINE THAT......flaming river didn't sell me any of this, but they have directions that are one hell of a lot easier to understand than the vendor who actually sold me the parts.

Oh yeah, I don't believe the grant end of it was giving me the most trouble . It was the column/adapter that threw me the most.

Now a smart assed comment would be that Flaming River must be more used to dealing with dumbasses than Speedway, hence they had your answer. See the difference? Need any more educating? The column I bought had a 1 inch DD on the end. I bought a adapter to reduce it to 3/4 DD, the same size as what is coming out of steering box.
I'm sure I'll have to have something made to connect the two.....
I seem to remember it can be had either way. DD or splines....
