I have one on a solid cam 318-392 stroker/850 brawler and with 4:56 gears and mild vert it works great but all the research ive done seems to point its a better intake for my type setup vs your mild setup with it being a single plane intake.
Many are going to say the current $450 edelbrock air gap is the way to go or as much as I hate to say it the $150 china man air gap would work just as well. Or even a factory cast iron 4bbl intake.

I have one that I gasket matched for my 340/420 combo. It may be a little small, but the TF Track Heat unit is never in stock when I search for it.

We used to bore the primary side openings on stock intakes and slip a 440 AVS on. great for street racing back in the day as it looked stock 🙄🤣🤑🤑

Those old small plenum single plane intake manifolds such as the Weiand Accelerator and Edelbrock Torker are a great high perf intake manifold. Not recommended for low comp, no cam duration smog engines. Vut with good comp, gutsy cam, some gears and appropriate stall (or 4 speed) and they are right at home. I say run it and see. If you must - and have the $$ you can try an RPM or RPM Air Gap- or Weiand Air Strike or etc.
Keep old mopars alive.
