73 empty and 10 full is correct for Ford and Chrysler in the era.

Picked up a Tanks sender from Summit for 60 bucks hooked it externaly to get a idea of where the float is with the gauge seems to be fairly accurate so I installed it and but gas in the ride and the gauge reads to where I figured it would..so far I'm happy with it

While not exactly for stock OE gas tanks, how is the accuracy of the Tanks Inc floatless and reed sending units? Holley also has a laser sending unit. Wonder if these are any better. Most gas tanks are tucked way up under, so using an EFI gas tank (minus pump of course) on a restoration build or one with carburetor, might be a solution to the sending unit issue.

I have offered top quality fuel tank sender units for almost two decades, always from the same manufacturer. And everything else I offer follows this same philosophy.

With a couple hundred sold, I have had to replace exactly ONE!

Yes, mine are significantly more in terms of price, so the lesson here is this:

LIKE MOST THINGS IN LIFE, YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!

Sender units are found in Group 14 Fuel on my website.

I looked at your website and I don't think your pricing is out of line. The concern really is not if the sender works (they all move the needle) it's if it is accurate. I'm going to try one of Bill's for my '67 GTX as so far nothing I've found for the '66-'67 B-bodies is accurate.
