Thanks you all. Parts are on order for a major refresh to the old hoist, and a shop clean and re-org is underway.
the improvised booth led lighting is working out well under the loft as I'd originally hoped/intended, to replace a bunch of failed T8 fixtures.

wow! Your whole story would have made an awesome Car Craft Online series as they're doing now.

I'd love to be involved with stuff like that.

I did have to overcome rejection from those kind of publications back in the days of paper magazines.
20 years ago I'd started writing some tech articles and knew a couple magazine-affiliated folks to help get me started, I got the articles submitted but could not afford fancy photography equipment
back then, and they told me the pics weren't good enough. So that pretty much killed that thought.

(Of course, now, a phone does an acceptable job).

You should be proud Rich. It looks great, and you took on the project yourself, while most others only wish they could do that.

Coming from a dude with your build capabilities, that's a huge compliment. Thank you Jeff!

Thanks Wes!

Hopefully the best is yet to come.

Thanks again to the mods for bending the rules and letting this live in the race forum in spite of not being very racy.
Being that I've really only done restoration for the past 4 years and immersed myself in that end of the activity,
sometimes I'm unsure how much of a racer I even am anymore.
But, I know where my people are, and....the car is what it is (55 years old), it needs what it needs.
