Milan needs to bring back the all Mopar Day..... I remember the Chrysler Parts Depot in Centerline, always did a Mopar show every summer... It wasn't huge, but it was a nice show with a swap meet. I miss that one.

I was there also.... first time I went was in '85...in Michigan. A friend of mine (Mike) won the giveaway '69 Road Runner..(black/black 383) that same year. In '88/'89/'90/'91 I drove my bronze '69 300 convertible to Columbus. Nice looking Charger..383 car? Thank you. 318, ps/pb/ac. It doesn't look very good anymore, it was painted with lacquer and the job totally failed many years ago but it's next in line after the GTX and I hope to eventually get it looking better than ever. I'm a little more confident after all the practice I got on the GTX over the past few years, it's going to be good to strip it and do it right. Zippy.. what color are you gonna go with on the Charger? What is the factory original color? It’s QQ1, I’m not planning on changing it. The lacquer job was off slightly, the guy I bought it from said it was painted some kind of GM blue. Lucerne? Or something. I may paint the roof as i am totally fed up with vinyl roofs and don’t want them anymore, I like the contrasting color And have considered an “effect” white (with a blue pearl, for instance).

I've been to the Packard Proving grounds show, a handful of times... To me though, just not the same, as back in the day, at the Chrysler Parts Depot parking lot. Also miss the old VFW car show on Gratiot Ave. north of 10 mile. That used to be a great show, all makes and model's, but still a great time at that show every year! Can't forget about the old Street Machine Nationals at the fairgrounds off of 8 mile...good times! I'm feeling really nostalgic..lol.

Let's push for another all Mopar Day at Milan.

Ubly Dragway used to have Mopar's Against the World...all weekend drag racing, I doubt they still do anymore, since Tom Ledford (former track manager) has been retired for quite awhile now. The guy running the track now....= 💩 for brains
