One of these days I am going to be able to run a Mopar event back east. But they are really good at scheduling them on NMCA weekends. Great Mopar event at London, KY first weekend in Oct(4-6) And we already plan to be racing in your home state that weekend, hotels and flights are booked...Stupid red car causes me issues with Mopar events

Sent you the rules Robert ...I didn't get anything. I'm not complaining, just asking because it's frequently a part of a 'Mopar' race. But, I don't see it scheduled on any of the posters.

I sure hope they have a KOS so we can meet up there but I don’t recall one last year. Gary sent me the Hemi class rules. Maybe PM him Sean and ask if there will be KOS.

Mopar only KOS was always a hard drawl. Even during the Monster Mopar days Josh ended up eating a lot of the payout from his pocket as he promoted and loved the class. It will be fun watching to see how the Dragway 42 head up class goes from here. Their numbers weren’t great either.

Were 8 KOS cars at Dragway 42, but Leon broke before elims started, and others broke on Saturday.

Great show; thanks to all for attending and making our spectating experience better!
Bader said that race car count was up 100 cars year over year, swap spaces were sold out. Show car field was good. Sponsor booths were good. Fireworks were excellent for an event like this.
Question that I'm dying to know, what was the rules question/hub bub in NSS on Saturday night? Just want to know what was in question/being debated.
There was a car using a 2 step at the starting line. Though 2 steps are legal in NHRA Stock and Super Stock they are not allowed by NMCA N/SS rules which were in place for this event. The only legal 2 step is if the car has a manual trans. The car in question was equipped with an automatic. This wasn't noticed until there was quite a few racers who heard it during the Semi Final. Mr Bader did what he could do. Researched the rules himself. Then disqualified the offending competetors Semi Final win. His opponent was reinstated and went to the final round. Unfortunately competitors that ran against him prior to the Semi Final were out of luck. On a nice finish My buddy Mark won Gen 3 Sunday. The rest of the weekend didn't go good for Scott, Dave and I. Lost a double breakout on Saturday rd 2 by .004. Broke out in Rd 1 on Sunday by .001. Scott was still in in Pro for rd 2 but the trans lost 2nd gear. Doug

What is drag racing without a little controversy?! It was a great event, it was a well run, everyone I met was super nice and helpful especially the track staff . We had a really good time . I will definitely go back next year! It was nice meeting you Doug ,your car looks as good in person as it does in the pictures I've seen .

I was hoping my post wasn't taken in the wrong way. I was just curious as to what rule was in question, not really interested in the drama or who it was, etc.
