This is a great race - only feedback from us is maybe consider keeping the Gamblers classes separate on Friday night.

There should be enough support to keep them separate.

I hope the forecast changes or it might be a little damp. luck

I'm starting to pack the car today and try to get a good spot on Thursday morning.

Yea ... a 7hour tow is hard to justify going to a forecast like this. I have been to a few Monster Mopar races and sat in the rain most of the weekend....Diesel is too expensive now

I just keep checking it now to see if its getting better or worse

My team and I are geared up to go, rain or shine. Dragway 42 does a fantastic job getting racing in even when the forecast doesn’t look promising. Not saying there isn’t a point where they don’t cut their losses, but all in all, I’ve seen them get some big money races in with god awful forecasts. Fingers crossed, and hope to see ya guys there.

I plan on going, but the forecast looks not promising, good bet for rain every day, maybe decent Sunday.
Gonna make the call Tuesday night/ Wednesday morning. Hoping the forecast improves. I have an open trailer, so that factors in too.

They typically can dry the track pretty quick and they have no curfew so even if it rains they will most likely get all the racing in.

YES!!!!!$ I 100% agree. Only way I won’t go is if it’s cancelled obviously. But I don’t see that happening. Especially since Sunday looks beautiful. And remember guys it’s only Tuesday!!!! That weather will change 20 times by Friday. I’be been cooped up at home with a baby for the whole summer and only been to local track once. I’m ready lol.

Don’t ask me why but Dragway 42 is one of the fastest drying tracks I’ve ever seen. Good luck guys, be safe, and have fun.

As expected everything was run as advertised minus the Friday gamblers race which was split after Round 1.

It worked out nice and we got to race well into the night on Saturday and avoided the blistering summer heat.

Despite the HEAT the track was on absolute kill and we had a great weekend.
