Looks like B1’s on a later 400 block. Rolling the dice!

Looks like someone tested the limits of a stock block with B1 heads. usually not a good outcome

I believe they are 440-1 heads. I saw other pictures of the engine.

It was a McCandless motor they had built by someone else. There was a post about it on FB.

W.T.F., if someone else built it isn't a McCandless motor is it

My car back in the late 70s. Wish I still had it.

Several years ago I was going back and forth with a guy who went by Storm King.
He was making fiberglass and carbon fiber 66 dart stretch nose parts.
