Such a rare car, I want it but no room right now. It looks pretty complete and solid from what I can tell. Is this price reasonable? You don't see these come up for sale often.

I like it, 75k seems high to me but I don't know what they are worth. It would have to be close to perfect, no work needed, for that price. The ole hemi under the hood is awesome smile

Looks like something a guy cold go through the mechanical stuff, do some interior work, and drive.
Might even be in it right after a mild restoration, but I'd be more inclined to preserve as much originality as I could.
Hey, McCandless, whatcha think ?

I know these things have sold for big bucks in the past, well into the six figures. But not my wheelhouse for knowledge on these cars.

A good friend of mine sold his 58 300 vert about 6 years ago and it was a MAJOR project car .
I dont remember the exact amount but I think he got right around $10- 15k for it. But it was a black car and with everything to hang factory air on it. Which best I remember is the main reason the buyer wanted it . AC on these cars were pretty rare.

IMO $75K on this one is a tad high. But running and driving car are huge plus. That said I think something in the 50-60k range would move it . But I would REALLY want to see this one in person before pulling the trigger

Done nice they are 6 figure cars

I think it's safe to say that the '57 C300 was an aspirational car from Day 1, and a convertible said you'd really arrived.
I remember my Dad being really impressed with them (I was 6 years old)...but the family needed the '57 Plymouth Sport Suburban wagon he bought instead...

The 300 was Chrysler's version of GM's Cadillac. But I feel it was way superior in design and styling. If you were driving a 300 back in the day you were doing pretty good for yourself.

The 57 300C is a top shelf, iconic car. Dual quad 375 horse Hemi power!
With high level restorations, the converts have sold for over $200K. But they are SO expensive to restore. With this car being in Minnesota, I would want to go over it with a fine tooth comb for rust. As cool as the 57 Chryslers 300's are, it is odd that the lower cost DeSoto Adventurer of that year was so much better looking, with more bling.

My uncle has a '58 300D convertible that I've been helping him with. It has been a nightmare to restore for him over the last 2 decades and we're still working through some mechanical issues. His has been pieced together with a Saratoga body donor as it was originally from Wisconsin and was so rusty it broke in half at the a pillar being pulled onto the trailer to tow it out to Maryland!
