While the deed is done i use this.
It was in the marine section at Walmart for filling the outboard foot with oil.
Fits a quart size oil bottle perfect.
Bingo. An added bonus is to warm the gear lube bottle up. Last time I did this I left the bottles a five feet in front of a torpedo heater for a minute or two.

I use a garden sprayer of the correct capacity. Pour in the desired amount of fluid, pump it up and walk aaay until it starts to spit air.
