I don't think he was saying anything bad. I'm sure he was saying the young person behind the counter might think you were old asking for a 52 year old paint color.

He'd think "I'm" old for asking for a 52 year old paint.

elmor253 - what are you, the resident "political correctness troll" or something? If you have nothing to say remotely related to the topic, get lost!

Wasn't Header Orange also a Ford or GM color?

FWIW, I took Stanton's comment as humor, no problem...

Old?

What was the question, again?

So many shades of orange. Maybe because there are so many shades of red, and so many shades of yellow? Sometimes it hard to determine where the red ends and the orange starts, and where the orange ends and the yellow starts.

Guess that means it will always be a personal opinion on which one is best.

This isn't about who likes what, its about determining which is which and possibly a side by side comparison of them.

Went looking through paint code books again today ...

the Omaha orange and Ignition/Header/Crush orange are VERY close both to each other AND to the 1968 "Tiger" orange
the "Hemi Orange Pearl and Go-Mango are also VERY close - I expected the Go-Mango to be "orange" and the Hemi to be red.
