I would think headers alone would put it at least at 460 lb/ft and +430 hp at about 5600. It any event it's a sweet hard pulling street combination, probably enough to put an A body with decent traction in the 11's and a mid 70's D-100 in the 12's.

it's funny, I commented on one of his more recent videos that most people (that actually watch dyno videos on youtube) would really like to know more specifics about the head and cam specs...and (Thank you Nick!) it looks like he took that advice to heart,

That has to be the cheapest recipe to get a mopar to 400+ HP. 318's can be found for peanuts

Keen-sert might be better but it takes a much larger outside dia. I don't think you could put on in there an not substantially weaken the saddle.

iagree I'd have no problem using the stock main bolts in a combo like this.

The cap walk Diplomat360 posted in his pics aren't bad at all IMO. I've seen WAYYY worse in 600 hp 440s w/ stock caps and ARP bolts.

Yes, that is a heli-coil, my shop at that time (they were in business since the father opened right after returning from WW2 - yup, that long, and only closed recently - 2 maybe 3 years ago) was very comfortable doing this, in fact they had asked me if I had a specific preference as to how to fix this, and given that my intended build was a street motor with up to 400hp (power goals at that time), they said this would work!

The non heli-coil mains also showed some cap walk, but to an amateur eye like mine I honestly couldn't tell if what was there was a BIG deal, or just a 'normal thing' you might see in these kind of factory builds.

I have a 418" stroker '72 340 block in my street driven Duster. It's got a .040" bore, Eagle forged 4" stroker crankshaft.
Scat I beam rods, ARP hardware on the rods. 10.1 Icon forged pistons. Stock main caps/bolts...
Clevite bearings. Heads are factory J casting's that have been fully ported and polished, stainless Ferrera
2.02/1.88 valves... Indy roller rockers. Edelbrock Victor single plane intake. Cam is a Bullet Racing solid mechanical with .248/.250 @.050
lift..530 intake...LSA is around 106 IIRC. Never been dyno'd but should be good for around 500-510 H.P. Mine has been built since 2013, and it has roughly only 700 miles on
the drivetrain. I use the car for street driving and car cruises. It never has been to the track since I have owned it, but I think it should be good for easy low 12's with street tires, and 11's with drag radials...It never goes past 6k rpm. I haven't had any issues with this engine at all. BTW car is currently for sale..twocents
