looking at a 67 Sport fury with advertised original 440 and 4 speed. On build sheet under trans it has a 3. further below, next to engine code it has 394 in trans block. Anyone know if the codes align with a 4 speed for that car and year ? thanks in advance to all. I googled it and came up with zip.

for 1967 the "sales code" for the 4-speed manual transmission is 393, the last digit "3" shows up on broadcast sheet & fender tag
for 1967, a broadcast sheet would have "394" in the "TRANS" block for an 18-spline 4-speed transmission - appropriate for a 440HP
