First time I called he said mine were done but he had lost my contact information he said he would ship them right away. Second and third time I called he said he would check the tracking numbers both times he said mine had got lost in the mail. When they did show up they were very nice. I would never use him again he was one of the two worst vendors I used during my AARs restoration, the other guy just stole from me and stopped all communication.

Sounds like Bill’s heading towards same direction as Kim at Passion4Mopars

I did not pay up front. He told me he would let me know what I owed once they were finished. At this point though, I would be afraid to pay him as it sounds like it could just be a ploy to get some money and he would never send out the seat belts.

Another vote for Sharon’s Web, beautiful work and great communication. Never used Bill and wasn’t impressed with Snake Oyl.

When is the latest that someone has dealt with Sharon?I have a friend needing belts and he said there was talk on the b body board that she was not doing well and was not getting work out. He said the last good things said about her were several years ago. ?

A friend had a set done by Sharon’s Web in the last 6-12 months and was very pleased. The original “Sharon”, who got her start at Snake Oyle (sp?), did my belts about 5-7 years ago and they’re very nice. She trained up new folks to run her business then sold it to them when she retired a number of years ago.

I believe the original Sharon was dealing with some health issues, either personally or with a loved one, back around the time my belts were being done. Mine took a little longer than normal but she was great with communication.

I have seen Bills workmanship it's top notch. But the person whos belts were done had same deal.
I have the feeling Bill used to tell his teacher's the dog ate his home work

Sharon single handedly turned my 65 cop car restoration upside down! I had a bunch of paradigms about the car. She told me about a fellow that she did a set of belts for that had my exact car. I met him a couple of times and was able to document his car and I otherwise would have made many huge errors with the restoration. His was an unmolested original and my uncle had changed a bunch of stuff on mine.

I will be eternally grateful to Sharon!
