Since the Duster project is not the first one on the "to-do' list, decided to start getting ideas about what will go on with the project, decided to look at possible hood options. After locals trying to sell me dented hoods for $500, decided that I could add a different scoop to the hood, order a new hood with scoop I want or make the drivetrain peek-a-boo thru the existing hole. Previous owner added a scoop a friend had given him. It's ok, but it's not my first choice. Would like to see what the racers on the forum are doing for that "fresh-air" option.

My 1962 Polara 500 in HS 1969, I dropped in a long Ram dual quad 413 (the 383 callout was subterfuge).
I still have the hood.

I made a custom air cleaner. The filter is foam from Uni-Filter.

Impressive. I’m thinking of maybe one of the short aero pro-mod scoops that are around 5 inches high.
