I worked for Woodhouse for almost 9 years. My supervisors were the biggest "snake in the grass" type people in the business. All lies, broken promises, and constant fighting over incorrect paychecks (always, to their advantage). I'm at a better job now, but wish that the old one had worked out (I liked working at a Chrysler dealership). JS

It is sad... many of us live well in very rural America but when the big city prices and expenditures come here it makes it really hard.
Corporate consolidation and online outlets driving out local mainstays. Noe local dealer hers for decades. The overhead superiority and tax structure offered corporate make it impossible for the little guy. They even have a presence in service industry like vrpet cleaning, plumbing and other service industry, Even the once good "Dave;s Bread" has been bought out delivering a cheapened product at higher price, in the similarly embazoned package.

The Dealership is still in business today! I work at Nemaha Valley Motors and my mother was dealer principal from 2005 until last year. They had an unusually high percentage of muscle cars for our size and location because the business was started in 1965 by two young guys and they weren’t afraid of stocking and selling performance. I’m aware of your dart, I have pics of it where it had sat for a long time around the death of the original owner. Based on username it must have changed hands again because last I knew it was owned by a man with the first name of Tim. Send me a private message and we can chat if you’d like. -Bob Attached picture is what our showroom looked like all summer. The orange 2010 had 6k miles and the red 14 shaker had 1700 miles. Both have been sold in the last 2 weeks.

I was just down there in July, bought an old backhoe from a guy in Atlanta (KS) Edited to show pics of the thing we are most famous for. We had a super bird that sat new on the showroom floor until 1990 and to this day has around 200 actual miles on it. It’s went to mecum a few years back as part of the Wayne Schmeekle collection. The guy on the right in the third pic just passed away last week

Speaking of small town Chrysler dealers, I visited a Chrysler dealer in Crane, TX. back in the mid-80's. He had a bunch of really old Mopars sitting outside along the side of the dealership - all just sitting there getting dusty & dirty. They all had a story about them. The owner of the dealer was the real highlight though - he had been a tank commander in WW2 & told us a story when faced off against German troops at Christmas time that I'll NEVER forget. I'm sure he has long passed - RIP - I'll never forget this man.
