How does one remember the random pattern for different sites? And Yes the critical account like banks, Medical, SS, credit cards etc. are the ones to be concerned with up [/quote]

not a random pattern
you use the same pattern each time, just on a different part of the keyboard.
for instance if you use a star pattern, just shift one key over to start it for another password.
ijkm plus some set of numbers, becomes olk, when I shift over 1.
or if you can't use special characters shift the other way and it starts uhjn instead.

I'm kind of getting the idea ( I am Polish LOL), but how does one remember what pattern they used for all the various sites? if I'm following you correctly?
IE:
!QWER6789 bank
!WERT6789 medical
!ERTY6789 Investment account #1
!RTYU6789 Credit card
!TYUI6789 SS acct
They are all different, Got that (I think).
If so how do you remember which one was used for which acct.?
And which was used last, a month later when signing up for something new ?

if you always use the same pattern you can write down the first 2, save it in google passwords, so you know where the pattern starts.
not enough for anyone to figure out, but enough of a hint for you.

I don't have internet access on my phone, so that helps a lot.
My internet is only at home on my desk top, so I have a piece of paper with each password and user name listed for everything I need a password for. I started that years ago. Firefox does remember most of them for me, which is probably easier and more accurate then me trying to remember them, and faster then remembering where that list of passwords was safely stored.
