New show from MotorTrend+ and their TV channel...and this is a PSA, I guess:

Checked it out for a bit out of curiosity; one of the workers, gal probably in her late 20s/early 30s, was working on a pedal-toy dump-truck thing.
Obviously no mechanical aptitude: heats a rod in the wrong place to slide a retainer off, finally butchers the retainer, then starts banging on a recessed fastener with a hammer that's hitting all around the recess.
Hard to believe the show went on as though there was clever & expert work being performed, and then the usual bragging as the project is delivered.
May have something to do with a couple of pretty cute blonde gals who are the face of the business...

Watched a few mintes of some hack program a few weeks back, They were dismantling a 52? Chevy truck I think. They were going to rmove the pitman arm from the steering box so Master tech grabs a rosebud torch, starts heating and hammering in the sides of the arm. My wife says Turn that cr-p off even I know better than that
