I am currently looking at a 72 Charger SE. It was a 400 car but now has a 440 in it. Not a bad looking car. So if you have a nice Charger of this era let's see it! wave

I don't have one but I could definitely get into one up Especially a 400 or 440 car. '71 and '72 preferred

Facts are stubborn things.

I used to have a '73 Charger SE.. F8 green with white top and green bucket seat interior. 400 Magnum, console auto, Ralleye dash.
Don't have any pics of it, on my phone, so you're gonna have to imagine how it looks by my description...lol

I can! This one is black with cragars on it,bulge hood and a nice black interior. I have pics on my phone but can't post them. One of my racer friends told me about it as he knew I wanted another older Mopar after I sold my 64 Polara...

After a while, you just have to bite the bullet and deal with hidden rust.

Just me, but I think the 71/4 Charger is a much slicker looking body style than the 68/70.

Good luck on the purchase Ted!

I knew a guy back in the 80's...who owned (maybe still owns shruggy) a REAL1969 Charger R/T in that same color scheme. A custom purple paint job with a silver R/T style stripe. He named his car " Grape Shot"..... everyone else called it grape juice. laugh2

Is it as much a sacrilege to modify the bodies on these Chargers as it is the '68-'70 Chargers?

Reason for asking, there's a guy on Instagram that owns a couple of these Chargers, but he shortened the snout about 4" or so. To me it looks good, really tightened up the look. I used to have a pic saved of it, but it got lost. I'll see if I can find another...

EDIT: Here we go...... (ducks for cover just in case)

Looks better, but looks like a serious amount of labor to get it done right

I was there, saw your car parked near the fence. Looking great as usual!
