Im glad Im not in the market.

Or I might go take a look at this one.
Its in need of some trim and serious detailing. But I could enjoy this one

Looks pretty nice overall - agree on the detailing, ft fender moldings, and there are some curious details, like what I think is a C-body gas pedal.
Chipping - or what? - at left quarter moldings, cowl paint texture, valve covers, hole in headliner raise questions too.
Painter could have masked the jambs better...that's pretty glaring.
But $67K tells me the owner would let it go for around $50K, which may not be too bad in the current market for a loaded TX9 GTX with AC, if it's not reeking of perfume in person, right ?

Agreed, The car needs gone over and seen in person to ck it out.

Biggest issue for me is the crappy diecast trim on the back. They're pitted pretty good and a huge eyesore to look at.

But a 69 GTX ,,,, especially in Black AND with air is a high on my " be nice to own list " car.
If it were red interior, it could be something I make an offer on. But Im trying to get down to one car. So I better not keep looking at the pictures of this.

Aftermarket decor panel & tail lamp bezels will set you back about $1700, but not sure if they fit properly.

Frankly, your cars show better than this one, but I'm addicted to Mopar-shopping, so I understand...

I know a few people with the repop tail lights and finish panel.
I'm told fit isn't bad.

I can relate to always looking . Good thing I don't have a huge bldg or unlimited bank account.
Or I might get in trouble .

Black on black is a huge want list to most.
Me personally....would much prefer anything but black interior.

But...the struggle to keep a black car clean is real....very real.

Looks great but in Texas you would need a garage or asbestos under wear. grin

I can relate.

I'm in Arizona. One black car...but red interior. And one pale yellow car with black interior.

With ambient Temps averaging 105-110 range right now. The interior temps aren't much different between the 2,,,aka HOT

IF I buy a 2nd keeper car,,,, working A/C will be mandatory option

Under hood is weak for the money. Switch panel is too. Has the later fender turn signals, but no headrests. Just like the pedal, that’s curious. Has a much lower vin than my car and has the black buttons, but those turn signals on the early cars are almost always the 68 bullet style from my experience. Did St. Louis use the later style from jump street? That a much lower vin than my early 69 rr that had bullets.

Rear defroster is cool extra I suppose. Shoulder belts are nice to have.

Tail panel looks a bit rougher than mine with 71k, so I would guess the 91k is legit miles. For the money I’d want to see it with factory 14s since car presents as orginalish. If they are calling that a mostly original interior, then my carpet must be original like the dealer claimed a few owners back.

Has the weird valve cover arrangement, and overspray on kick down makes me wonder about stuff.

Heater not hooked up is big project while you repair ac that should work at this price point. That will cost $$$$$ trust me and don’t ask how I know and I got off easy in grand scheme.

Hard to read that puffery ad, no mention of any metal replacement history. Does the 8 track work? Tell me what I need to know and not what nobody cares about.

Paint looks like it has a lot of orange peel in pic number 40.

Car has been around a bit, I’ve seen it, so it’s not a deal for sure. Likely another one where they bought it for all it’s worth, about 50, and want you to donate to their cause. It’s a cool car, I love the option list, not the price or the lacking details and the scary stuff that needs close inspection.

but for $1700, how do they look ?
The repo tailight bezels and finish panels I have seen look cheap and dont have the pop of NOS ones which are tough to find. Krusinmoons are the best but you pay for what you get, $1800 for a pair of bezels and $2,300 for the finish panel, I have seen them and they look great , if your car is really nice its worth it, they really add to the cars looks. This black GTX has lots of issues for what they want for it.

That looks like 1970 or later valve covers? And what's up with the air cleaner? 1969 GTX w/ air came with the standard round unsilenced air cleaner. Also wonder about the carb, this auto / air car should have a 4640S.

IMO , the car has far too many ifs and/or maybes to pull anything in the $60s. But then again, it is black on black. Which has its premiums money wise.

Im not really in the market for a 2nd keeper car.. And I see nothing I cant fix with a few weeks of effort. ,,,,
That said,,,,And I say this with some reservation. But Deep down part of me says something in the 40s I would definitely bite. . But then again, so would 100 other people

Yeah below 50 and it’s a buy if the metal work is nice.
