,,, if i were to replace one flex line [on any vehicle] i would replace them all, ,,, Even on a car whose sole purpose is to give up its engine for another project? If indeed it is the brake line causing it not to start I will likely just clamp it off to allow the system to build pressure. Again, I just want to hear this engine run before investing time/money/effort into it.

I don't think that brake line pressure is the problem.
It's a wiring problem, but without actually working on the car themselves it's tough for people to tell you where the problem iles.
With it being wrecked there are so many places that there could be wiring damage.
It's just like any other old Mopar, it there is power at the starter (large hot lead) you should be able to feed power to the starter solenoid connection on the starter to make it crank over. Whether it would actually start with the key in the on position is a whole other story.
Kayse can't keep up at all now. lol

I don't think that brake line pressure is the problem.I was basing that off of previous advice but he hasn't followed up. without actually working on the car themselves it's tough for people to tell you where the problem iles.Completely agree. That's why I'm open to all suggestions. With it being wrecked there are so many places that there could be wiring damage.Again, I agree but everything else seems to work...well the broken headlights don't. When I get more time to truly get after it I'll check voltage at the starter and try jumping the solenoid. The shift indicator in the dash moves according to shifter position. Is there more than one sensor involved there?

The shift indicator in the dash moves according to shifter position. Is there more than one sensor involved there? Have you tried to start it in neutral ? Or just for grins in drive or all of the positions? Here is the neutral switch:

90% certain I tried it in neutral. I'll add "try all gears" to the list for when I get back to it. Thank you. Is that switch mounted on the trans or the shifter?
