My money is on the Brother's collection, they own the other RTS cars. It was not the Brothers. It was a gentleman out of California. They Brothers have the Duster, and the Road Runners are with a guy in NJ.

That was an interesting aside; the owner hid the car away for a half century and now says that he hopes the new owner will show the car. The pre-auction estimate was $500k to $700k. And it actually stalled there for a while. And then BOOM! $2,000,000 The Black Ghost brought just under a million. Values of collectable muscle cars may slide..........eventually. But that point is still a ways off if these results count for anything.

I predicted the RTS Cuda was going to bring over a million, & the Challenger around $325,000. I was wrong on both, but everybody I knew was waaay underestimating the RTS Cuda. I think it brought what it deserved. The Challenger on the other hand I thought went for WAAAAAY more than it should have.
I should have bought the '71 Roadrunner back in '94 for $25,000 - it was here for sale locally!
