You made me look! January next year will mark my 20th year. Where'd the years go?!

A couple constants in life—everything changes and we ALL have an expiration date...

eek bawling

The date shown, is it for moparts as a whole or is it just for this rendition of moparts? The board was changed a few times early on.

October of this year will be 20 for me. I was thinking I joined in 98 or so though.

Correct, January 2003. As President and Grand Poobah of the procrastinators club, I didn't get around to re-registering until November 2003. I don't recall my original date, probably about the time the Dallas board died? shruggy

The "joined" date in your profile is the "new board". Mine shows 2003 but I've been here since the nineties.

Same here along with a bunch of others. I got nervous signing up for the "new board" by about eight hours. I think it came (back) online around 5pm or 6pm EST on Jan 19th 2003 and I waited until I was sure it was for real early the next morning around 4am on Jan 20th. We all lost the previous posts and started with a clean slate (I think). I guess we're still having fun (on most of the forums ;)) as the time has really flown by.

Yes...mine shows Jan.2003 when I re-registered for the new board. I originally joined IIRC, September 2000. Time fly's... my kids were small then, now they are all adults making their own way in life.

Oh wow. 02/02/03 was my join date. And I was here before that for sure on older formats of the board.

Where does the time go indeed.

I wonder if Mopar Jamie ever got anything to run?

Counting years is for kids, real men count how many "vacations" they have enjoyed. LOL

Yes, the Jan 2003 was the reboot after the 2nd big crash from the original board. The 1st crash was in 2001, and that wiped out about 1/2 the members. The 2nd crash took the entire board out for a full day or two, if I remember correctly. I think I first signed up around 98 or 99. I survived the 1st crash.

I had to sign up under a different name when I had my own computer crash. I couldn't remember my original password, and at that time the truck that was attached to my original signup was already 5 years gone. I took it as a reason to change my handle when I signed up that last time. Originally my handle was 50dodge4x4.

its been a fun ride. My son graduated from High School in 2000, things were so different way back then. We were younger, the hobby was strong, and owning Mopars was fun and not nearly as expensive. The good old days for sure.
