On a side note, the military has decided to buy an updated version of the F-15 (F-15X). I've always wondered why they didn't modernize the A-10. Those things are tough as nails! I'm sure the answer is mission related, but I just love those planes. Hey Mike I was just up the road from you at Barksdale AFB '86-91. We also had A-10's a reserve unit along with B-52's, KC-10's, KC-135's and a few T-38's. Fell in love with Louisiana's culture and food. The A-10's were very unique aircraft cool sound flying overhead.
