Cab if you have never seen these cars live you really need to see the show. Kinda like the old Pro-street class or early Pro-Mod cars. Pretty much out of control 3000 HP door slammers probably in the 4's

The top guys are in the 3's at the NPK races on a scraped/no prep surface.

The small tire guys can go in the 4's on bare roads, it's insane.

JJ may be a goofball. But he certainly is able to tune stuff. Not to mention owning stuff that goes faster than most of us could afford. He's a risk taker for sure. Stupid? not when it comes to going quick. Safety conscious? maybe not so much either.

JJ has been faster than I'll ever go and owns cars that probably cost someone more than my house. I think he is charismatic in a way that (some) people will follow him. Stupid? Not really, and away from the camera he's probably not the con artist that he is portrayed as on TV.

I do question the intelligence of stuffing pillows between someone's back and the seat to move them forward enough to reach the pedals in a car, let alone one that is capable of running in the fours. He has been lucky several times, I'm afraid the odds are no longer in his favor.

Might as well belt them in with bungee cords. So much can go wrong when those pillows compress and release seat belt tension. Tricia has been messed up more than once getting rag dolled in a crash.

Yep, I bet the directors drool every time they see the pillows going in. In one of the S.O. shows that she crashed, the in car video shows her being thrown around as you mentioned, like a rag doll. She didn't come out of the belts, but she sure was flopping a round............a lot.

It's just a matter of time before this one will be wadded up - JJ is getting his money from the show - They buy him the cars and engines. The dude has a long rap sheet for fraud as a crooked home improvement contractor - he's a character and that gets ratings for the show - sooner or later someone will get seriously hurt or killed in one of his junk piles!

I was floored when they showed video of "Ol Heavy" (one of them) and the roll cage was tack welded in place. 5 more minutes of work and .5 ouncers of welding material- what are you thinking?

It's been that way for years, just look at the thugs in pro sports.
