If you have the time, take a drive out to Williams AZ and take the train up to The Grand Canyon. It looks like they've done a bunch of upgrades since we went 10 years ago but the package was basically stay in Williams for the night, See a wild west show in the morning, ride the train up to the south rim with lots of history and entertainment. On the return trip the train gets "robbed" by bandits on horseback. We stayed overnight at the canyon and came back the next afternoon, no upcharge for that. Lots of stuff to see at the canyon, more than the few hours the day trip is there will let you see. The Kolb Museum was worth the trip alone.

[quote=calmopar]Vegas isn't known to be a BBQ town, but there are some good ol' boys who relocated there and are smoking up a storm.

Plenty to eat in Vegas, for sure, but this is always a worthwhile stop. Go to the original (main) location on Highland Drive. https://www.rollinsmokebarbeque.com/

Funny you should say that, I just at there about 5 hours ago with Moparts member Terry ‘Aka ‘Kickin Wing’. If was good and had a nice flavor and decently priced for what you would get in Las Vegas. Would go again. Also, so can visit the Pawn Stars building next door and see all their over priced trinkets and very cool staff.
