Nice to see the results after all the delays. Very good post with combo summary and dyno results all in one place.
733.0 ft-lbs at 5700 rpm 869.8 hp at 7000 rpm
I bet it would hold close to that HP at higher RPM. I was asked how high I was willing to spin it, and told him I didn’t want to go over 7000, and would most likely be shifting it at 6800. It’s a bracket engine. I want it to last a long time.

Congrats on the successful dyno runs. That should put you in the 9 teens or oh's. You say you just want it to get down the track, hang out with your friends at the dragstrip. I know better. You want an 8 second time slip! What is it going to take, 8.86?

You want an 8 second time slip! What is it going to take, 8.86? Wallace calculator shows it “should run 8.85 @ 152 mph. But we all know that is with optimum conditions, and sea level. We don’t race at either of those. While yes, I’d love to see a 8.9999 before the 4th of July, and collect yet another dinner from you, I’ll be content with a 9.teen, and have it repeat all day.

If you want to run in the 8's ....its practically a no brainer. SLip the "correct" carb spacer in there and im sure it will go DEEP into the 8's Seriously.....congrats, that a bad A$$ bracket engine

Sounds like a runner, dont see why you cannot get her into the 8's with that piece. As for carb spacers, ehh. I have dynoed alot of engines and seems you can stack them to the ceiling and make more power and put it in the car and see ZERO gains. Its all about plenum volume for the given combo, if its good its good. FWIW we have had the best luck with the ones we have made for our stuff to match the carb size more than a generic spacer. I believe that is do more to fuel shear atomization and droplet size than anything else.

Did you try making any pulls with the air sensor disconnected and remove with the carb open to the room air only? If so what was the differences? If not
