Just interested to see if there were any Mopars that ran. A buddy of mine was a corner worker at the 67 mile mark. Several unlimited cars went by at 200 plus.

You can go as a volunteer corner worker. Wherever they assign you on the course you get to see the cars go by at speed every 30 seconds.

Years ago a member from PA and I talked about taking his 69 RR out there. Must have been 2004. He finished the car and I think took it to Pocono to try running at a bit of speed. Wrote me and told me the car literally would not drive straight. Bummer as I was 40 back then and would have loved it. Now, my back is broke and wouldn't even think of it. That said, it worked out right because my son was born early that same year and had a diaphramitic hernia after 10 days ending up in Childrens Hospital. It would have been right when we were suppose to be in Nevada.

Here I am, Cab...

Yes, I've been running it since 2010 in the Charger and a few other vehicles along the way.. We were actually running the 150 class in the Charger this past May but had a brake problem (caliper let go of the bracket at 160+ and decided it wanted to be a 3lb wheel weight, tearing off the brake line in the process) There's a few older mopars that run. A purple fury with a Gen 3 hemi swap is there about 1/2 the time. There was a red '71 Charger that ran the 150, but I can only assume the older aged gentleman that owned it has since passed. There's almost always 1 or 2 there.
