If someone can't be bothered to put prices on stuff I walk on by. As a note...I saw Tony D had a "Business for Sale" sign in his spot.

Let's hope the folks in charge of the track ( doubtful ) and the Nats folks are paying attention.
I suppose everything has it's peaks and valleys. I think it peaked in the 2010's.
I used to go all 3 days, met up with so many good friends, some have passed, others moved on. This year I was there 2 days, 1 for biz, other for fun, had plenty of it. Invited a friend from Meechigan who had a ball and spent lots of dough. It's close ( < 2 hrs ) so I feel I should attend. I sometimes use it to test run a car. So it works well for me.
Will I go back next year? Probably

Hey - I did & we talked quite a lot earlier today - I'm glad I got to know you & Mr. Cuda! I've known & worked with Mike since 2004. I got home tonight around 6:30 & looked at my Nats photos. Time has really flown - last time I was there was 11 years ago - I could not believe it! Although there were some nice cars there, the number of really nice ones was way down since 11 years+ ago, plus I thought there were a lot fewer cars there. Carlisle for me next year without fail.
-Eric
It was great to meet and talk with you too, Eric

I had not attended for several years due to the disorganization, poor cleanliness, bad food choices, and the annual you are going to get screwed over by something by the time the weekend is over. I was a walk-up vendor this year, and was pleasantly surprised by the super friendly staff at the gate, garbage cans regularly emptied, relatively clean bathrooms, new fairly reasonably-priced food choices, and I didn't get screwed over once. Except an adjacent swapper crashed his van head-on into my table, and buckled it tossing some parts around. OK, you can stop now. LOL It was a really good experience overall.
For those that walk by if no prices on items, it's a swap meet not Target. The art of negotiation is lost. People are afraid to ask what a part fits, what the price is, counteroffer, etc. My buddies and I reward true swap meet folks with good deals, particularly when they have a younger person with them learning the ropes. People that ask questions, we end up explaining what we know and where they might find what they are looking for. End up talking at length with quite a few people, making new connections even.

No, Brice was a ghost town on Friday night. It looks like they’re getting ready to demo the Red Roof Inn…

Ah the red roof. If you were ever there around 2000 you need no explaining about what an event the entire weekend was back then.
I want my fair share

I recently found our video recorder and a bunch of videos from Brice Road 2003ish. Found one where I was front and center at the gas station across from Red Roof that turned into a mad house when they shut Brice down. I'll have to get them on YouTube one of these days. I don't think they'll mean much to most but it was neat to see what it once was.

Sounds like you gave some hope to those that have never attended for a future visit. I agree put prices on stuff. Sometimes I won`t ask thinking they will want too much.

There is like 4 small videos on YouTube that give you a hint of what the scene was like Mopar Nats 2000 I remember leaving the hotel around 6 am for breakfast - Walking around the show for almost 10 hours in 95 degree heat - Then trying to get to Brice Road before 5 or 6 pm so we could pull in a parking lot and watch the chaos until midnight - Then do it all over again the next day Didn’t they destroy the blacktop parking lot one year ? Red Roof INN

You could also walk the lots along the road and it was a car show that went on and on. Now just a fond memory that would be cool to see in YouTube.

Red Roof INN One of the years the burnouts claimed the small block in a dart I think it was. Things got pretty chaotic around that place. Some girls were encouraged to adjust their clothing for the summer heat. I do recall one that was rather mad when she was told to cover up.
