Well, after a long day at the dyno we started at around 8:00 and ended at around 3:30..I just got home..It is now 10:06..

I am sorry to say that we missed the 1000hp mark by 18 horsepower It made peak horsepower at 8100rpm made 982hp and made peak torque at 7000 rpm made 685 torque. So this thing made some smoke ..I am very happy with the results..I have to say.. my headers were the #1 cause the motor did not make 1000hp..I have some very tight bends in my headers and they are alittle long also..

Chris took the manifold and carb spacers to make a more agressive manifold spacer..so that should pick it up alittle also..I am going to have to thrash to make the Chrysler Classic..but we will see..

I will post a dyno sheet tomorrow to show you the actual results..but I want to say..how much power this thing makes..we left a plug wire off this thing by accident and made a pull to 8500 rpm and this motor still made 840 horsepower on 7 cylinders..

I want to thank Chris Uratchko for a killer motor..Dale Cubic at CFM carbs for a killer carb and all the tuning advise..Chris Holbrook for the use of his Dyno facility..John Eisz for putting up with me for the day.. all top notch guys..

Amazing, it may be worth driving out to the Classic to see that thing run. And to party with my buds.

I think Uratcho had a 68 Camaro first before he went Ford. Sounds like he is just an engine #$ore
All I know is that his stuff flat gets it!!!!
Nice numbers and can't wait to see it run.

"Only" 982???

What a lemon!!!

I'd give it back to Chris if I were you.....or better yet, sell it to me for 25 cents on the dollar.

I'll sacrifice and take it off you're hands.

I'm real pleased with the engine. Thanks for the kudos!!

There's 20 somewhere... but at this point it isn't worth a few cams, another set of headers, and wearing it out to find it... it'll be fast with what it has...

I know of a certain black car that would run 8.30's at 2950 with that mule... ran .40's with 40 less hp, and 25 less torque.

That is great for 416 CID and only a single carb. I bet a Ron's single Terminator (2100 cfm) fuel injection would be perfect for that thing. You already have all that crank drive stuff on the front, just add the fuel pump and bolt on the Terminator.

I don't want to be little the HP, but the TQ is VERY IMPRESSIVE! 685ft/lbs out of a 416" motor?!

Nicely done!
