I have a hemi 4-speed out of a 69 Charger R/T. Car was probably in the SE (GA or AL?) or mid-southern US - XS29L9B118432. Also, have a 68 440HP motor 8G117410 - also probably a southern (GA?) car. If you have the car prove it and we'll talk. I will eventually put these into a car but will try to reunite with their original cars first. dlndjh@prodigy.net

I am looking for the original 340 motor, automatic transmission, build sheet, fender tag, and anything else for my 1970 Plymouth Cuda. The VIN is BS23HOB207883. I believe the car was triple black originally. The car was bought in Indiana approx. 3 years ago. Any info would be great, thanks. you can call me at 614-774-6841 or email me at 383bee@earthlink.net.

Hi, I'm looking for the original numbers block for my 1970 318 Barracuda 4 speed car. Luckily, the trans is the original but it would be nice to find the block. I know, who cares about a little 318 car anyway. Well, this is one factory 4 speed car that will never be converted to a big block as long as I own it. They are becomming few and far between. Anyway, The car was in the New England area for the last 15 to 20 years, but I don't know where it originated from. The vin on the block should read: OB291104 This year when you take your boat out of the water to store it for the winter, look at the anchor (318 block), maybe its mine. Thanks for any help, Rob

1971 340 engine, understand it runs well. Has aftermarket valve covers & aluminum intake & lumpy cam. A friend has this motor. Codes are as follows; Ser # pass side- 1G152245 Front of block, below head- 340P3303798(or '6')2 (8/13/70) Side of block- 2780930-340-8 or 3. Block has raised date of June 28, '70. First 2 numbers on head are- 34... Don't know what kind of car it came out of but wanted to see if some one has/needs that ser #. Thanks. Update- According to one of the members, it's an early '71 road runner 340
