Unless the crank has center counterweights, the 2nd and 3rd throws are counterbalancing each other. “What I would do” is put the two new rods on the 2 & 3 throws, on opposite sides of the engine........ like clys 4 & 5 or 3 & 6. 68 Satellite, 383 with stock 906’s, 3550lbs, 11.18@123 Dealer for Comp Cams/Indy Heads
