No he isn’t. Race cars are prone to vibrations at different rpms than stock production vehicles. Then most of us add solid engine mounting and there’s nothing to absorb it. There is not one good reason NOT to use loctite. Carry on.

I suppose you Loc-Tite your rod bolts/nuts, head bolts, crank bolt, etc.? But I do agree with you, no reason not to use it. Just not mandatory.

The very purpose of torque is stretch, every bolt in that engine had 5 engineers figuring out how it keep it tight. Every section in the FSM on the end pages have torque specs for a reason. BTW I have had solid mounts high lift cams and big springs, nothing came loose.
