Nothing, tighten to specs, done. Have you ever pulled apart a 440 and found the cam bolt loose? Only rebuilt engines, mainly because the bolt-s were not torqued right.

Been doing this over 50 years, never seen any bolts back out when torqued to specs. I suppose you Loc-Tite your rod bolts/nuts, head bolts, crank bolt, etc.?

But I do agree with you, no reason not to use it. Just not mandatory.

^^^ agree, 100%. The very purpose of torque is stretch, every bolt in that engine had 5 engineers figuring out how it keep it tight. Every section in the FSM on the end pages have torque specs for a reason.
BTW I have had solid mounts high lift cams and big springs, nothing came loose.
